Nigel Parkinson

2414 Morgan Development International

Board Member

Built Parkinson Construction Company, the oldest, largest self-performing African American Construction Company in the Washington, DC region with hundreds of successfully completed projects with the utmost quality, reliability and assurance over the past 35 years
Developed 2414 Morgan Development Group in the USA to complete development of hotel projects, office buildings, event spaces and mixed-use developments over the past 20 years
Nigel graduated with his undergraduate degree from Florida A & M University and his Master from Florida State University. More recently he completed the Owner/President’s Management Program at the Harvard Business School

Verona Parkinson

Agriculture/President
AGEMA Consultoria

As the President at AGEMA Consultoria of Mozambique, Dr. Verona Parkinson is the Company Representative of 2414 Morgan Development International in Maputo Mozambique
She has over fifteen years of experience in development projects in sub Saharan Africa with an impressive list of renowned international organizations. She has a dynamic career which started as a researcher with the National Research Council, (NRC) Canada followed by an appointment by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) to the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Ibadan, Nigeria. Verona has over 20 years of rich and solid experience of working in Mozambique on projects for various government institutions, international agencies and NGOs.
As Director of projects at AGEMA Consultoria, she has managed a wide range of multidisciplinary scientific studies funded by agencies such as the AfDB, CIDA, DANIDA, DfID. IDB, IFAD, JICA, UNDP and the World Bank.  She holds a master’s degree from McGill University, Canada and a Doctorat d’Etat (mention trés honorable) from the University of Paris, Orsay, France.

power engineering, power electronics, and related disciplines.

With more than 25 years experience in architecture with all type of projects in Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Nigeria, Mozambique and Botswana has been able to implement large volumes or work through out the African region.  The high profile list of projects is mainly attributed to commitment in excellence in service delivery and understanding of the social and climatic contexts of designing and construction buildings in the tropical environment.

Agile, Highly Motivated, & a Thought Leader with over 30 years in global business, finance, grants  and tax, Daphne provides strategic services to individuals, businesses, nonprofits and government agencies.  She obtained her CPA MBA at the University of Dallas.

Government Relations

She is an accomplished Business Development specialist skilled at creating and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, business leaders and community representatives to promote sustainable growth and development in societies.  Leveraging her extensive knowledge, she established Gollen, LLC to provide astute services, advocate for private sector collaboration and cultivate robust trade and investment ties between US and African countries.  She sits on the board of the National Democratic Ethnic Coordinating Council at the DNC as the representative of the African Diaspora.  She holds a B.A. in Political Science in International Affairs and Comparative Politics and an M.P.A. in Public Administration, Economic Development from Columbia University as well as she holds a B.A. in Fine Arts with concentration in Fashion Design and Merchandising.

Allison Johnson

Senior Consultant

Allison Johnson currently serves in a consultant at 2414 Morgan Development Group, a commercial real estate development company in the Washington, DC area, serving the Mid-Atlantic Region, the Midwest &the Eastern Seaboard with full scale property development, real estate development and property management services. 
Previously serving international financial institutions, Fortune 500 corporations and international management consulting firms, Allison Johnson brings twenty-five years of successful professional experience in private and public sector business development – strategic analysis, planning and budgeting, program management, fund raising, donor and client relations, and business management consulting. She has worked across Africa since 1992 in results driven, self-starting and problem solver areas to produce results for project s and programs on the ground. Throughout her career, her positions of increasing responsibility in International Marketing Management, Global Business Development, Strategic Marketing and Planning, Public Affairs and Government Liaison work have created superior results for private sector companies and international financial institutions. She has served as a strategic partner for projects, events and programs that need thought leadership in the development, planning and production of programs globally in Italian, Portuguese, French, English and Spanish. She has an MPA and an MBA from Harvard University and BA from Stanford University.
